Brooklyn WARSAW

Warsaw, a historic concert venue at 261 Driggs Avenue in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood, has long been celebrated for its unique blend of Polish heritage and vibrant music scene. Initially established in 1904 as the Polish National Home, the venue has evolved into a cultural landmark, affectionately known as the place "where pierogies meet punk."

In 2016, Live Nation began booking shows at Warsaw, enhancing its programming and broadening its audience.

Recognizing the venue's potential, Live Nation undertook an extensive renovation project in 2022, culminating in a grand reopening in September 2023.

Renovation Highlights:

  • Expanded Balcony: The balcony area was enlarged to improve sightlines and accommodate more guests, enhancing the overall concert experience.

  • Updated Bars: New bars were added, and existing ones were upgraded to accept cashless payments, streamline service, and reduce wait times.

    Greenpointers

  • Improved Accessibility: The renovations included significant ADA-compliant updates, such as accessible restrooms and enhanced facilities, ensuring inclusivity for all patrons.

  • Remodeled Green Room: Artists now enjoy a refurbished green room, complete with modern amenities and unique touches like pierogi-shaped pillows, reflecting the venue's Polish roots.

  • Additional Lounge Space: A new bar and lounge area were introduced, providing guests with more spaces to relax and socialize before and after performances.

Throughout the renovation, careful attention was paid to preserving Warsaw's authentic charm. Traditional Polish dishes, including pierogies and kielbasa, continue to be served, maintaining the venue's cultural essence.

Warsaw's reopening has been met with enthusiasm. It will feature an eclectic lineup of artists and events that honor its storied past while embracing a dynamic future. The venue's successful transformation under Live Nation's stewardship underscores its enduring significance in Brooklyn's cultural landscape.
